This is the first single from the upcoming album ‘The Gap’
(Out Aug 2nd).
The Gap refers to the distance between our intentions and our actions. The composition expresses the emotional challenge of accepting what is and dealing with ruptures formed between people, despite a deep desire and passion for connection.
SHASHA's debut piano solo album presents her modern-classic compositions interwoven with improvisational elements, inspired by Jazz and cinema. The works, written as piano songs, receive an extended interpretation in her live performance, with an emphasis on improvisation and spontaneous drift. The album is due out on August 2nd under "Kamea" label.
